Can finally start moving forward
I signed my divorce papers Thursday. I don’t think the judge signed them Friday, the court house is closed Monday for MLK day, so Tuesday they should be signed and my divorce will finally be finished! We didn’t have to go in front of the judge for it because we agreed on everything and they had a waiver you could sign waving your right to be heard in court. I was glad, cause I have nothing to wear to court, I wore my good cool weather dress once and my warm weather dress the other time. I don’t have any other cool weather dresses to wear.
Next week i’ll get 2/3 or my settlement money in cash and the other 1/3 in a 401k, which I have no idea what to do with. I think I’m gonna cash it out and use the money as a down payment on a house.
